This tier list is based on their role and Constellation at rank 0. Each rank is divided into 4 categories, Exploration, Bosses, Dungeons, and Abyss. All of the 4 categories are combined and that’s the tier of a character.

Tier S

Characters in Tier S are the strongest and recommended to get. The characters in this tier are competent in their role and can synergize their ability with other characters

Tier S characters are:

• Diluc (DPS);
• Fischl (Support);
• Qiqi (Healer);
• Venti (Support);

Tier A

Characters in Tier A are worth having in your lineup. They may not be as powerful as tier S characters, but these characters are good enough to help you complete every task, missions, and dungeons in Genshin Impact.

Tier A characters are:

• Barbara (Healer);
• Chongyun (DPS);
• Jean (Healer);
• Keqing (DPS);
• Mona (DPS);
• Razor (DPS);
• Traveler Anemo element (Support);
• Xiangling (DPS or Support);
• Xiao (DPS).

Tier B

Characters in Tier B are worth considering if you lack a character to cover a specific role or element from Tier A and S - they work as a temporary replacement. If the criteria are met then these characters can work well in your lineup. 

Tier B characters:

• Kaeya (Support);
• Klee (DPS);
• Ningguang (DPS);
• Sucrose (Support);
• Treaveler Geo element (Support);
• Xingqiu (Support).

Tier C

The characters in Tier C is your last option when you got nothing else going. The character’s skill and synergy with other characters are average. There are better options.

Tier C characters:

• Beidou (DPS);
• Bennett (DPS or Support);
• Lisa (Support);
• Noelle (DPS or Healer);

Tier D

This is the lowest tier and the only character in this tier is Amber - for now. Every Genshin Impact character got her in their initial lineup and have tried using her. Her status is okay, but her skill doesn’t work well when adventuring or inside a dungeon.

Unless you want to make Amber as your waifu, then there’s no need to raise her level to max.

Tier D characters:

• Amber (Support).
