Demon Slayer or Kimetsu No Yaiba is a massively successful anime. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after a demon kills his entire family and turns his sister Nezuko into a demon. Tanjiro ventures to find a cure for his sister and avenge his family by joining the Demon Slayer Corps.

Demon Slayer story continues to grow and branches out to numerous arcs each season, most of which have succeeded in helping the anime become the best shounen anime. Demon Slayer: All the Arcs in Order

1. The Final Selection Arc

Demon Slayer begins its storyline with the Final Selection Arc. In this section, we learn how Tanjiro, who used to sell charcoal, suddenly has to take up a Nichirin sword to fight demons in order to survive. Tanjiro undergoes rigorous training for several years from Urokodaki, before leaving for the Final Selection of the entrance exam for the Demon Slayer Corps candidates. During this selection, some will only pass if they make it out of the mountain full of demons alive after seven days. You will also be introduced to most of the main characters, namely Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, as well as the Hashira concept to Giyu Tomioka.

2. The Kidnapper's Bog Arc

This part is where Tanjiro shows his progress of becoming a reliable demon slayer. He embarks on his first mission to investigate why several young women have mysteriously disappeared. The main highlight of this arc is Tanjiro and Nezuko's fight against the Swamp demon. Perhaps it's not a particularly powerful demon, but this fight proves how ferocious the demons Tanjiro has to face as well as the impressive teamwork between Tanjiro and Nezuko.

3. Asakusa Arc

This arc follows Tamayo and Yushiro, two kind, unaggressive demons who live alongside humans. Yet the debut of these two characters is not the only thing that is interesting here, but Tanjiro also finally encounters Muzan Kibutsuji, which leaves him quite shaken. This arc follows Tanjiro, who joins Tamayo and Yushiro into their territory to hear their idea of an antidote for demons. But this leads up to two of the Twelve Kizuki would-be demons, Susamaru and Yahaba, who serve Muzan.

4. Tsuzumi Mansion Arc

This arc is one of the most action-packed moments in Demon Slayer. This arc brings Tanjiro on a mission to investigate a house where Kyogai, the demon, a former member of the Twelve Kizuki, wreaks havoc. This arc introduces Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, who carry out missions with Tanjiro. Zenitsu reveals his true power for the first time when fighting the tongue demon, you can also see Inosuke's power potential for the first time during the fight against the horned demon. Aside from that, Tanjiro's fight against Kyogai is certainly an epic one for you to witness.

5. Mount Natagumo Arc

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke climb Mount Natagumo in their first group mission to defeat the terrible spider family demons. These demons are the most formidable foes they ever encounter to this point, and are enough to keep Zenitsu standing on the sidelines of the battlefield for the most part. Rui is the first demon introduced that is part of the Kizuki Twelve, whom Tanjiro and Nezuko must defeat. This arc also reveals the first time that Tanjiro has the Sun Breathing Technique after performing Hinokami Kagura. In this arch also appears Giyu and Shinobu as Hashira who come to the battlefield.

6. The Rehabilitation Training Arc

After revealing some clues about Hashira, this arc introduces the other seven Hashira for the first time. Despite their efforts, the Hashira do not acknowledge Nezuko as she is half-demon. But Kagaya Ubuyashiki says there is no reason to punish Tanjiro and let Nezuko be. Afterwards, Tanjiro is taken to the Butterfly Mansion where they spend much of their time recovering from the previous battle.

7. Mugen Train Arc

This arc is adapted into a movie, in which the main focus is on Rengoku. The trio of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are ordered to accompany Rengoku to defeat Enmu, a low-rank demon who unites his soul in a train that can make anyone who rides the train be in a dreamland.

Even all the demon slayers get stuck in the dreamland, losing their consciousness. However, the demon slayers manage to wake up and fight Enmu. But at the end of the story, Akaza, the High-Level Demon, appears and makes a desperate battle between Rengoku and takes the life of this Fire Hashira.

8. Entertainment District Arc

The Trio is now given a mission to go to the Red Light District, where they have to go undercover in a brothel to find a demon that has been wreaking havoc on the city. This arc introduces the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, and his three wives. This arc has some of the best fights in the series and introduces Daki and Gyutaro. In this arc, you can see the changes in Nezuko, who transforms into a strange and stronger version of herself to fight Daki, even though she almost loses her consciousness as a human.

9. The Swordsmith Village Arc

This arc follows Tanjiro who goes to the village of Nichirin Sword blacksmiths to repair his broken sword. You'll also meet the two Hashira, Muichiro and Genya, who are two of the graduates from Tanjiro's class. You will also meet two top-ranked demons at once. This arc, which is being broadcast in 2023, features Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and Mitsuri who have to face Hantengu, a High-Level Demon who can conjure emotion clones. Meanwhile, Muichiro's Mist Hashira has to fight Gyokko the Upper Rank Demon. In this arc, you will see how Nezuko grows stronger to survive in the sun.

10. The Hashira Training Arc

The next arc after the swordsmith village arc, is the Hashira Training Arc, which is intended to increase the health and overall abilities of the demon slayers. Tengen is in charge of the stamina training, Mitsuri trains flexibility, and Muichiro helps fighters increase their overall speed. Obanai shares tips on becoming an overall better swordsman, Sanemi coaches on strength, and Gyomei helps the demon slayers build their muscles. This arc is quite a brutal yet entertaining training that gives out the calm-before-the-storm vibe.

11. The Infinity Castle Arc

This is the Final Battle arc, and is divided into two sub-arcs, which will be the end of the entire anime series. The Demon Slayer Corps get ready to face Muzan Kibutsuji. The Infinity Castle Arc is the first sub-arc that is full of explosive battles. This arc also offers lots of epic fights like Shinobu against Douma, Tanjiro and Giyuu vs. Akaza, and Obanai and Mitsuri against Nakime. But some of the most hated demons will also have their tragic backstories revealed.

12. The Sunrise Countdown Arc

After the fierce battle during the Infinity Castle Arc, this section is going to be a continuation of the fierce battle between the demons and the demon slayers who must defeat Muzan and his minions before sunrise. The demon slayers finally subdue Muzan, and Nezuko recovers from her demon state. Despite the deadly fights, you can see the happy ending of this series, which you definitely have to wait for.
