2. Diao Chan

7. Zhang Fei

In Dynasty Warriors 5, Zhang Fei is one of the most powerful characters, he may even match Lu Bu. Moreover, in this game, Zhang Fei can inflict a tremendous amount of damage to his opponents and is able to wipe out multiple guards, lieutenants, and even generals just by using a couple of combos.

8. Cao Pi

The second son, and also the successor of Cao Cao, was often overly-used by many players in Dynasty Warriors 5. Just like his father, Cao Pi is an elite war strategist and able to use his sword well.

In the Legend Mode of Dynasty Warriors, Cao Pi is paired up with Sima Yi and Xu Huang. The three men work together and are tasked to punish the treacherous traitor Meng Da at Xin castle. 

9. Guan Ping

Guan Ping is one of Guan Yu’s adopted children, who starts his journey by proving that he’s the rightful heir for his adoptive father’s throne. Guan Ping possesses exceptional combat skills, he even took his father’s role in Chang Ban and chased down Cao Cao when he tried to escape.

In Dynasty Warriors 5, Guan Ping is one of the most fun characters to play as, because he wields a greatsword and has unique combos.

10. Zhou Yu

Zhou Yu was the first strategist of the Wu Dynasty, as well as a highly loyal officer. In Dynasty Warriors 5, Zhou Yu is one of the most awesome-looking characters, and he has outstanding swordsmanship like Cao Cao. Furthermore, Zhou Yu also possesses a unique ability which allows him to cast a fireball that will explode when you activate certain combos.
