4. Akaza

Akaza is a demon and holds the position of Upper Moon 3 with impressive abilities. He can take out any demon slayer easily because he is a master of hand-to-hand combat. Akaza is so strong that he can kill one of the strongest Pillars in Kimetsu no Yaiba!

As the holder of Upper Moon 3, Akaza has tremendous strength since he can kill the past Pillars and a Pillar in Tanjiro’s era. Akaza can take on and overwhelm Tanjiro and Giyuu even when both of them activate their Demon Slayer mark and Tanjiro uses Dance of the Fire God.

3. Doma

As the holder of Upper Moon 2 title, Doma is far stronger than Akaza. Doma can neutralize the poisonous wisteria flower that’s usually deadly for a demon.

Doma is considered as the third strongest demon in the series. The combination of his battle techniques and skills is powerful enough that he can take out a Pillar in Tanjiro’s era without any difficulty. In the past, he beat Kanae Kocho, the previous Flower Pillar, and the older sister of Shinobu Kocho.

2. Kokushibo

Unlike most demons, Kokushibo can use the breath like a demon slayer. Kokushibo’s power is truly horrifying, and the strongest Pillar, Gyomei Himejima, even has it hard against Kokushibo after activating his Demon Slayer Mark.  

Kokushibo was the strongest swordsman and considered as the strongest member of the Twelve Demon Moons and the second strongest demon after Muzan Kibitsuji. As a hundred years old demon, he fought against numerous demon slayer and acquired tons of knowledge and experience about a battle.

As a breath user, Kokushibo has tremendous power and reflex, not to mention if those are combined with his demon powers.

1. Muzan Kibutsuji

As a pure demon, Muzan is the strongest demon in Kimetsu no Yaiba series. Muzan is almost unbeatable because he can’t be killed even after being decapitated. At the moment, there is no clear method to kill Muzan, aside from burning him using the sunlight.
