Description

Actually, Exp Laner is not a completely new role in Mobile Legends. The Exp Laner role is basically a newer version of the Offlaner, where you play in the solo lane to face off against your opponent.

The reason why the role is called the Exp Laner is that the hero who plays in this role can reach level 4 faster than other heroes in the other lanes. 

The Exp Laner will occupy the lane next to the Turtle, and get more exp from each minion. 

The suitable Class for this role is usually a Tank or a Fighter, who tend to have the ability to perform solo laning and split pushing, and have the capacity to pull off some ganks on the enemy Mid-Laner.

Tasks

Unlike other laners, the main task of the Exp Laner is rather simple, you need to take down as many Turrets as possible and occasionally go to the mid-lane to gank. 

An Exp Laner doesn’t always have to be around in team fights unless the team fight occurs close to the Exp Lane. 

Ideally, the Exp Laner will focus on performing split push to take down enemy Turrets without the opponents noticing.

The most crucial task for an Exp Laner is that they shouldn’t die in vain. Because when an Exp Laner gets killed, the enemy can easily take down a Turret and have the opportunity to take control of the jungle area near to the Exp Lane.

Therefore, if you’re losing a fight as the Exp Laner, your best bet is to play safely near your Turret to avoid being ganked and killed.

Yu Zhong

For a long time, Yu Zhong remains one of the best choices for an Offlaner, because he has several advantages, such as high Damage, a good amount of Defense, useful CC, and insane Lifesteal.

Hilda

The duelist Fighter hero is one of the best heroes to occupy the Exp Lane since she can dish out enormous Damage on enemies, and has a high regen due to her Passive. With her Passive, Hilda doesn’t need to go to the base to restore her HP.
