The tournament was initially created for Southeast Asian countries. However, this season, other regions, such as Europe, North America, Latin America, and Brazil, will take part in the tournament.

MSC 2023: Tournament Format

This season, the tournament will be divided into two stages, namely the Group Stage and the Playoffs. In the Group Stage, teams will compete to clinch their spots in the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will be in a double-elimination format, with Upper and Lower Brackets. Thus, the team that lost in the Upper Bracket still has one more chance in the Lower Bracket.

MSC 2023: Teams

As previously mentioned, the MSC 2023 also features teams from other regions outside of the SEA. Each region also has its own distribution of slots. Indonesia receives two slots in this tournament.
