The International (TI) 13 is coming back this year, in September 2025 to be exact. The world's biggest Dota2 championship will compete for the Aegis at Barclays Arena, Hamburg, Germany.

For those of you who can't wait to see them play, here's the latest information about The International (TI) 14 2025 that you need to know!

TI 2025 Schedule and New Format

The International is set to kick off on September 11, culminating in the Grand Final on September 14. The eight teams that qualify from The Road to The International will compete for the Aegis at Barclays Arena in front of thousands of fans.

This year's TI will use the Swiss Stage format. The Road to The International (Swiss-Stage) will take place September 4 - 7 and The International (Playoffs) takes place from September 11 - 14, 2025.

16 teams will compete in the Swiss Stage, 3 teams with four wins (4:0) will directly advance to the Playoffs, 3 teams with four losing scores (0:4) will be eliminated, the remaining 10 teams will advance to the next round (Special Elimination Round) here the strongest against the weakest, later 5 winning teams will qualify for the playoffs and 5 losing teams will be eliminated.

This new format will make this TI different from previous years, where the race for Aegis becomes more exciting with competition on the Swiss stage. Who will be the champion at The International this year?
