Worlds 2025 brings together the best League of Legends (LoL) teams from around the globe to compete for the title of League of Legends (LoL) world champion and a total prize pool of up to US$5,000,000. League of Legends Worlds 2025 Schedule, Format, and Match Results

The League of Legends Worlds 2025 competition will use the same format as Worlds every year, divided into three stages: Play-Ins, Swiss Stage, and Knockout Stage. The schedule details are as follows:

• PLAY-INS: The Play-Ins stage will be held on October 14, 2025, where two teams will face each other, with the winner advancing to the Swiss Stage. These matches will be played as a best-of-five (BO5) series and will use Fearless Draft rules.
• SWISS STAGE: The Swiss Stage will be held on October 15-19 and 22-25, 2025, with a total of 16 teams competing in the Swiss Round format. Teams with three wins will advance to the Knockout Stage. Teams with three losses will be eliminated. The elimination and advanced stages will use a best-of-three (BO3) series and will use Fearless Draft rules. All other matches will be played in a best-of-one (BO1) format.
• KNOCKOUT STAGE: The "Knockout Stage" will be held from October 28th to November 2nd, 2025, and the Grand Final will be held on November 9th, 2025, where a total of eight teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be played in a best-of-five (BO5) series format and will use the Fearless Draft rules.

To watch the Worlds 2025 League of Legends competition, you can watch it on the LoL Esports YouTube channel or watch it live at the venue. The Play-Ins and Swiss Stage will be held at the Beijing JD Esports Center. The Knockout Stage will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena (Quarterfinals and Semifinals). The Grand Final will be held at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium.
