The success of the first film leads to the release of Pacific Rim: Uprising. The film is inspired by the Japanese mecha anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion that has a similar concept with the film, a fight between alien monsters and a robot controlled by a human. The film released last 2018 is a must-watch for the fans of mecha films.

In the first Pacific Rim film, Gipsy Danger is the best Jaeger in its era to fight the threat from the Kaiju. In the sequel, we see 6 Jaegers with great abilities. In the span of 10 years after the first Pacific Rim film has birthed stronger and cooler Jaegers. Who are they? See the list below.

1. Guadian Bravo

Guardian Bravo is a Mark VI Jaeger. The giant mecha is created for long-distance battles. That’s why Guardian Bravo is equipped with a whip. Guardian Bravo is also equipped with Burst Foils on its back, 21 x-9 Core Salvo Charge, and Elec - 16 Arc Whip as its main weapon.

2. Bracer Phoenix

The Mark V Jaeger is designed for all-purpose battles. It has an offensive ability like Striker Eureka and can unleash attacks from its body. The jaeger has a Gunner Pod and a Vortex Cannon in its stomach for the close-range attacks. Bracer Phoenix also has an Anti-Kaiju Missile Launcher in its thigh. 

3. Gipsy Avenger

Gipsy Avenger is the Mark VI Jaeger version of Gipsy Danger from the first Pacific Rim film. The fighting ability of this Jaeger far surpasses Gipsy Danger because of the new equipment such as Dual Vortex Turbine on its chest and the twice bigger power source. Gipsy Avenger also equipped with new weapons on its arms such as Elbow Rocket 2.0, Chain Sword 2.0, Plasma Caster 2.0, and Gravity Sling.  It also has additional features such as Sprint Speed and Agility to move quicker.

4. Saber Athena

Saber Athena is the sleekest and the most elegant Mark V Jaeger. Almost identical to Gipsy Avenger, Saber Athena is considered to be the fastest Jaeger ever created. The sleek Jaeger also comes with a Back-mounted Twinblades hidden on its back that allows the Jaeger to fight and move like a ninja. Saber Athena also comes with other technologies such as X-411 Supermetal Body Work on its chest, N-16 Particle Charger on its hands, and RG-28 Accelerator Limbs on its legs.

5. Titan Redeemer

Titan Redeemer is a Mark VI Jaeger designed for brutal close combat. The massive robot is equipped with EMP Mist Grenade on its left hand and an M-19 Morning Star. For its engine, Titan Redeemer is equipped with GG-11 Gyro-Core like Gipsy Avenger. It also has  T-21 'Flatfoot' Sentry Treads on its feet to move faster.

6. Scrapper

Scapper is a Mini Jaeger in Pacific Rim: Uprising. The mecha is created by Amara Namani, played by actress Cailee Spaeny, and can be mounted by one pilot. Scrapper is built from destroyed Jaeger parts. Unlike other Jaegers, Amara created Scrapper to protect herself from other Jaegers.
