The arrival of new players has always been one of the main attractions in MPL ID Season 16. Among the many debutants, the name Qinn has stood out as one of the most eye-catching. Not only because of his unique background, but also due to the way he had delivered explosive performances from the very start of the season.
Qinn had come from a tier-3 team in the Philippines, Maru Esports. Even though he came from the lower levels, he had proven that Filipino EXP Laners were indeed known for their high mechanics. With disciplined yet aggressive gameplay, he had immediately helped Dewa United Esports appear more solid in the first half of the season.
By week five, Dewa United had shown impressive stability. They had already secured fourth place in the standings, an achievement that made many analysts start labeling Dewa as a potential dark horse. And behind this early success, there had been a major contribution from a world champion.
Yes, Qinn had not simply come to MPL ID by chance. There had been a long process, including a recommendation from a highly accomplished player already recognized by the esports public. From here, the interesting story behind this transfer had finally been revealed.
Qinn Joined Dewa Through Kramm’s Recommendation
In an exclusive interview with Dunia Games, Qinn revealed the secret behind his arrival at Dewa United Esports. He stated that recommendations from two important players, Kramm (SRG), who was a world champion, and Lansu (Twisted Minds), had played a pivotal role in making him noticed by the Indonesian team.
“I was able to join Dewa because Kramm (SRG) and Lansu (Twisted Minds) recommended me, when coach Right asked for suggestions on an EXP Laner,” said Qinn.
Furthermore, Qinn admitted that he had initially felt nervous about this decision. Playing in another country had never been easy, but strong support from his family had given him the courage he needed.
“At first, I felt quite nervous because I had to play in another country. But my parents supported me a lot, and from the beginning, they had known that I was very serious about this scene,” he continued.
With this unwavering support, Qinn had since focused on delivering his best performances with Dewa United. He understood that fans carried big expectations, especially since he came as an import player who was expected to bring an instant impact.
In the end, Qinn’s story had become proof that hard work, family support, and recommendations from influential figures could open the doors to the biggest stages like MPL ID. From Maru Esports to becoming one of the most talked-about names in the league, Qinn’s journey had truly inspired many other young players.
