The official website for the stage drama adaptation of Gege Akutami's manga and anime Jujutsu Kaisen has announced that the series will return to second stages in Hyogo and Tokyo from December 2023 to January 2024. The stage drama Jujutsu Kaisen will adapt two exciting arcs, "Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc" and "The Origin of Obedience Arc." Apart from that, the staff has also released the first visual and cast list.

The newest cast member in this stage drama is Nonoka Yamaguchi, who will replace Erika Toyohara in the role of Nobara Kugisaki. The rest of the cast from the first project will return to play their respective characters.

Kensaku Kobayashi will return to direct this drama with a screenplay written by Kohei Kiyasu. This first stage play was first performed at The Galaxy Theatre, Tennozu, Tokyo, in July 2022, and then transferred to Osaka's Mielparque Hall in August 2023.

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga written by Gege Akutami was first serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. The 23rd compiled volume of the manga was published by Shueisha on July 4th 2023. Viz Media published the manga digitally and in print, while Shueisha also published this manga digitally through the MANGA Plus service.

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime series first aired in October 2020 with a total of 24 episodes. Crunchyroll broadcasts the anime outside of Asia at the same time as each new episode airs in Japan, and they also stream dub versions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.

The anime movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 premiered in Japan in December 2021, and launched with English subtitles and an English dub in the United States and Canada in March 2022.

The second season of the anime premiered on July 6th on MBS and TBS, as well as on 28 affiliated channels. Crunchyroll broadcasts the second season at the same time as each new anime episode airs in Japan. The Crunchyroll company also broadcasts the dub version in English.

This second season will air for two cours (half a year) for a schedule that lasts half a year. This anime will adapt the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc ("Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu") and the "Shibuya Incident" arc based on the manga by Gege Akutami.

The "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc aired from July 6th to August 3rd 2023, then aired two compilation episodes on August 10th and 17th 2023. The "Shibuya Incident" arc began on August 31st 2023 and will consist of 18 episodes.
