The official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account has announced the singers who will perform the opening and ending songs for the second season. Kitani Tatsuya will sing the opening song titled "Blue House". Meanwhile, Soushi Sakiyama will sing the song "Lantern" for the ending.

MAPPA is still the studio responsible for making this Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 anime. This second season will start with a flashback to Gojo'sschool days when he and Geto were still good friends. We will also be shown the reason why they are now enemies.

Sakiyama explained that the ending song he will be performing will tell about Geto's experiences and pain which changed his philosophy on the world and how the people around him react to it. He was also honored to have his song on the soundtrack of Jujutsu Kaisen anime. Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will air in July 2023!
