Jurassic Park: Survival – A Sequel Set After the 1993 Film

Jurassic Park: Survival, the upcoming single-player RPG by Saber Interactive, has unveiled a new trailer featuring gameplay, narrative details, and behind-the-scenes creative work.

The game is set one day after the events of Jurassic Park (1993). Players take on the role of Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist left behind during the Isla Nublar evacuation. Surrounded by prehistoric predators, the ultimate goal is survival while exploring the island and avoiding dangers such as the T. rex and velociraptors.

Iconic Jurassic Park Moments Recreated

One of the highlights shown is the legendary kitchen scene from the original movie, where Lex and Tim were hunted by raptors. According to Creative Director Oliver Hollis-Leck, the team recreated this scene so players can experience the same heart-pounding tension.

To maintain authenticity, Saber Interactive used original props, set designs, and concepts from the 1993 film.

Brutal Encounters with Dinosaurs

The trailer also shows Dr. Maya being caught and devoured by a T. rex—a moment that fans found both terrifying and exciting. Lisa St. Armand, project executive for Jurassic World, even admitted she looks forward to “losing on purpose” just to experience the scene.

This approach highlights that Jurassic Park: Survival isn’t just about escaping—it’s about truly feeling the terror of living among dinosaurs.

Release Platforms and Expectations

While an official release date has yet to be announced, Jurassic Park: Survival is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

According to Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, the vision behind the game is to deliver immersive dinosaur interaction—not just watching them, but truly living the fear and awe of Jurassic Park.
