The start of the Solstice Event in Pokemon GO marks the arrival of various Pokemon from Solrock and Lunatone. You can start hunting for Shiny Solrock and Shiny Lunatone to add to your Pokedex.

If you’re lucky, you can also find Snorlax spawns, or even the sought-after rare Shiny Form.

Aside from that, Regigigas, the Colossal Pokemon, and its Shiny Form are having a debut in Pokemon GO. Trainers used to be able to get Regigigas from Exclusive Raids, but now we can encounter it in Tier 5 Raid Battles. It has a CP of 55,480 as a Raid Boss.

Regigigas is a Normal-type Legendary Pokemon. Thus, to defeat it, you need to use Fighting-types. The best Pokemon to counter Regigigas are Conkeldurr, Lucario, Machamp, Breloom, Hariyama, Mega Lopunny, etc.

Be careful as Regigigas has Zen Headbutt (Psychic-type), which is Super Effective against Fighting-types. You’ll need at least 3 Trainers to beat it. But, it’s recommended to fight it in a team of 5 Trainers.

If you manage to defeat Regigigas, you’ll get the chance to catch it with a CP of 2,389-2,483 (Level 20). During the weather boost (Cloudy/Partly Cloudy), it will be a Level 25 with a CP of 2,987-3,104. Regigigas will remain in Raid Battles until July 1, 2021.
