Hotaru is a character who debuts in Kimetsu no Yaiba as the one who delivers Tanjiro's Nichirin always appears with his iconic, unique, and silly-looking mask. Haganezuka, who's always angry whenever Tanjiro destroys the sword that he forged, turns out to be a good-looking man behind his hilarious mask. He has to hide his face because of the rules that apply in his village, which aim to hide the swordsmith's real identity from the demons.

4. Shin Ah (Akatsuki no Yona)

The character who comes from the bloodline of the Blue Dragon serves as Yona's bodyguard. He wears a mask not to appear mysterious, but to restrain his ability that can make anyone exposed to hallucinations just by looking into his eyes. Realizing his ability, early in his childhood, he has been told to wear the mask so that he could still go out of the house. Even when he takes off his mask, he always covers his face with his hands out of fear of hurting others. 6. Tobi (Naruto)

Tobi is a character who's synonymous with his orange mask with a spiral pattern hole focused around his Sharingan. He's a member of the Akatsuki who hails from the Uchiha clan. The mask used by Tobi does look simple, but it actually hides extraordinary powers, including his good looks.

7. Mr. Compress (My Hero Academia)

Mr. Compress is a powerful villain in the My Hero Academia series. He wears a costume with a black and white mask with no eye holes. He is also infamous for being a mischievous magician who likes to mess with his opponents. His Quirk, Compress, allows him to "compress" anything in a spherical area around his arm into a small, marble-like object. Although it sounds non-lethal, this Quirk is one of the most extraordinary powers which he obtained through years of training. When he first revealed his real face, Mr. Compress instantly became popular among fans due to his good looks.

8. Hei (Darker Than Black)

The main protagonist of the Darker Than Black anime possesses the power of electricity manipulation and serves to get rid of the criminals who possess similar powers. Hei usually always wears his signature mask, which is a gift from The Syndicate, to hide his true identity. Even though the mask looks scary, Hei is actually quite charming behind the mask.

9. Gin – Hotarubi no Mori e

Despite having a human-like appearance, the protagonist of this series is actually a spirit. Even so, he has a human friend named Hotaru who's very close to him. At the end of the series, you will be able to see Gin's face which has always been covered by his mask. 10. Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)

The protagonist of the series, Ichigo Kurosaki is a human who possesses Shinigami powers that help him protect his friends from Hollow attacks.
