Tsundere characters tend to serve a role as someone who's a hindrance for the main protagonist, because they usually get on the nerves of others, especially if the main protagonist is too kind. Even though they often ridicule and belittle those around them, their actions don't always represent their feelings. These characters usually seem indifferent and cold-hearted, but they actually care a lot, regardless of what they say. On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you a list of tsundere characters in anime who pretend that they don't care, while they actually do. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
1. Loid Forger
Loid may claim that everything he does for his family is part of his spy mission. Yet it's actually pretty clear that he deeply cares about his fake family. Loid may act cold towards Anya and Yor when no one is paying attention to them. But when the three of them are at home, Loid takes the role of the perfect father and husband. As we've seen in one episode of Spy x Family, Loid was willing to orchestrate a spy game plan, utilizing the resources he has from WISE, just to keep Anya happy. Loid may refuse to admit it to himself, but it is obvious to everyone watching that he is very content with this lifestyle.
2. Katsuki Bakugo
When you watched the anime My Hero Academia for the first time, you might think of Bakugo as the type of bad boy character who is rude and aggressive towards everyone, especially towards his childhood friend, Midoriya. Bakugo even refers to his other classmates as simply "extras''. Bakugo may have a bad temper, but he's clearly aware of how powerful his classmates are. During the USJ incident, Bakugo even brushes off Kirishima's concern for their classmates, as Bakugo believes they can handle it on their own. Bakugo may come across as rough and aggressive, but he knows how to respect those around him in his own way.
3. Kei Tsukishima
The volleyball player from the anime Haikyuu! may be the type of person who is difficult to be friends with. He likes to point out other people's mistakes, and of all the members of the Karasuno team, Tsukishima cares the least about volleyball. Coach Ukai even said that having no heart for the game can affect his development. However, Tsukishima doesn't care about volleys as much as his teammates. But eventually, his indifference turned into a competitive spirit as he doesn't want to lose to Shiratorizawa. Tsukishima got his spirit back and showed how he pushed himself to care more about volleyball.

4. Sesshomaru
Sesshomaru from Inuyasha is the type of demon who hates humans. As a pure demon, he sees half-demon and human beings as weak and lowly not even deserving of sympathy. But it's not just humans who receive his bad treatment. Even his loyal partner, Jaken, often gets ordered around and abandoned by Sesshomaru. But, given his view and treatment on humans, it's quite surprising that he wants to save Rin from the brink of death. Slowly, he started to care about Rin, even though he never admitted it. Despite his cold appearance, it's very clear that he actually cares about those around him.
5. Uryu Ishida
This character from the anime Bleach, is the type of person who helps someone then acts as if he did it just because everyone else is too incompetent to do that. His hatred for Soul Reapers usually makes him act very cold towards Ichigo and other Soul Reapers associated with him. But this doesn't stop Uryu from helping out whenever they need his help. When Ichigo needs his help saving Rukia during the Soul Society arc, Uryu is ready and willing to help. But he makes sure Ichigo knows he's not doing it for them to be good friends, but because he wants to make the Soul Reaper look bad. But if you remember how Uryu almost gave up his Quincy powers just to save Rukia, it's pretty clear that he really cares about protecting his friends.
