Because of his peculiar approach to life, he always looks emotionless and flat, even though he only does this to save energy.

4. Levi Ackerman - Shingeki no Kyojin

Levi is one of the most iconic characters in this anime series. He is part of the Survey Corps and had a difficult childhood and many kinds of struggles in life. All of this hardship made it hard for Levi to smile. The memorable moment where Levi shows a bit of emotion is when Historia becomes the Queen and hits Levi. It's actually more of a smirk than a smile, but it's a very rare event nonetheless.

3. Yoriichi Tsugikuni - Demon Slayer

Yoriichi Tsugikuni is a legendary demon slayer of the Sengoku era whose twin brother became one of the strongest members of the Twelve Kizuki. Yoriichi initially admired his brother, Michikatsu Tsugikuni. He even had the intention of surpassing his brother, but he was later disappointed as his older brother decided to become a demon. From then on, he became a stoic, unflappable individual and rarely smiled.

2. Kanna - InuYasha

Because she was created by Naraku, Kanna is highly loyal to Naraku. She was born without a demonic aura and had no scent so she can't be detected. Kana is known as an aloof, emotionless person who doesn't have or feel emotions. However, Naraku still believes that Kanna can feel emotions but never shows them.

Giyu is known as a cold and emotionless character. He always shows a flat facial expression. He is a quiet individual who possesses a strong sense of justice. He hates people who don't know boundaries and waste his time. Throughout the entire series, Giyu never smiled. Shinobu claimed to have seen Giyu smile when he was enjoying his favorite food. Despite never smiling and looking emotionless, he became one of the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps.
