Also airing on Netflix, Kakegurui Twin is an anime spin-off of the famous anime series called Kakegurui. The Kakegurui Twin manga began serialization in Gangan Joker on September 19, 2015. The series is written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Kei Saiki. The story focuses on Mary Saotome, one year before Yumeko Jabami transfers to Hyakkaou Private Academy.

As a bright young girl born into an ordinary family, Mary has passed her entrance exams and enrolled at an elite school where gambling has become a central part of the school's rules. Mary Saotome adapts quickly to the school's strange system and instead becomes a gambling maniac. 1. Mary Saotome

Mary Saotome is a deuteragonist character from the Kakegurui series and also the main protagonist of Kakegurui Twin. Right after Mary joins Hyakkaou Private Academy, she meets Tsuzura, one of her old classmates from elementary school, who is now a "pet" due to losing a gamble.

She used to dislike Tsuzura, but after seeing what happened to her, she started to feel sorry for her situation. Mary quickly learns the rules of the academy, and secures her first gambling win against other students who deceived and humiliated Tsuzura. Later, she controls Yukimi Togakushi's gambling den by defeating her in gambling.

2. Tsuzura Hanatemari

Tsuzura Hanatemari is a deuteragonist in Kakegurui Twin. Despite coming from a wealthy family, Tsuzura is not good at gambling, and quickly turns into a pet. Fortunately, thanks to Mary Saotome, whom he had known since elementary school, she learned about gambling and began to believe in himself.

3. Sachiko Juraku

4. Aoi Mibuomi

Aoi Mibuomi is one of the main characters in Kakegurui Twin. Prior to Kaede Manyuda, he served as Student Council Treasurer at Hyakkaou Private Academy.

Intrigued by Mary Saotome's gambling skills, he wants Mary Saotome to join his organization, Full-Bloom, which he also founded to remove Kirari Momobami from the position of Student Council President, as well as eliminate the housepet system within the academy.

5. Yukimi Togakushi

Yukimi Togakushi is one of the main characters in Kakegurui Twin. She is the president of the Literature Club, and a member of the Supernatural Club. She had once owned a gambling den, but hardly any guests were interested in gambling there.

Yukimi was very surprised when Mary and Tsuzura wanted to gamble in her den. She is usually friendly, but her character is impatient and gets stressed quickly, and gets angry easily. She lost her composure when she was nervous. However, she really likes to help others and cares deeply about her club.

6. Mikura Sado

Mikura Sado is a supporting character in Kakegurui Twin. She is the personal pet of the Chairman of the Public Morals Committee, Sachiko Juraku.

Mikura has shown great loyalty, dedication, and obedience to Sachiko Juraku by doing everything for her. Sachiko treated her brutally, but some of this treatment seemed to comfort Mikura.
