The release of IT Chapter 2 back on September 4, 2019, managed to claim positive response from horror fans and critics alike. The success of the IT sequel written by Stephen King turned out had affected the pop culture, including anime, via the iconic antagonist, Pennywise the Clown. The evil shapeshifter entity managed to scare his audiences due to his actions to the children in Derry, Maine. But did you know that aside from Pennywise, there are other evil supernatural entities created by King who are waited by the fans to appear in the silver screen? Not to make you wait, here are five other evil supernatural beings by Stephen King.

1. The Raggedy Man

Back in 2016, Saban Films collaborated with Stephen King to make a movie adaptation of his novel titled Cell, which published in 2006. It is said that a mysterious cellular telephone signal spread in the global telecommunication network and turned humans who contacted with it into a mindless being called 'The Raggedy Man'. Sadly, the story is less popular than other booming zombie-themed back then, The Walking Dead.

2. Kurt Barlow

The Kurt Barlow character appeared in Stephen King's novel titled 'Salem's Lot' in 1975. Kurt Barlow is a vampire with a scary face and loves to kill humans. His action to satisfy his hunger upon human flesh is by kidnapping people in Salem’s Lot and turn them into his kind, then infect the vampire virus to other people. The success of Kurt Barlow’s character makes Salem's Lot novel adapted into live-action in the form of mini-series in 1979 and 2004.

3. George Stark

George Stark described as an evil supernatural being who born from the darkness of the hearts of all people he had killed. He’s a character in a novel titled The Dark Half, which published in 1989. The existence of George Stark began from a tumor that lifted from Thad Beaumont, a mystery novel writer, but the thing that called tumor turns out to be Thad’s twin, who sucked into death when the two still in the womb. Rejecting the perfect fate given to Thad, eventually, Stark spreads the terror by killing all the people one by one who involved in a novel created by Thad.

4. The Crimson King

Another supernatural being is Crimson King, who was created by Stephen King in a novel called Insomnia, which released in 1994. Crimson King described as a killer who wants to be a king by kidnapping and eating children as his minion and lives underground.

5. Randall Flagg

And the last one and the scariest creature ever created by King is Randall Flagg, who appeared in the novel titled The Stand in 1978. Flagg described as an evil being who wants to build his empire by doing everything possible, including killing everyone who opposes him. 
Flagg has been resurrected into a modern version in a TV and widescreen adaptation titled The Dark Tower.
