Every superheroes or supervillain have a loyal assistant or partner that will help them no matter what. This assistant or partner is what people call a sidekick. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there may be sidekicks that you think as one of the main characters. These are the best MCU sidekicks Dunia Games’ version.

1. Hulk - Thor Ragnarok

In Thor: Ragnarok’s synopsis, Thor is forced to face Hulk in a gladiator arena to safe Asgard that’s in a brink of destruction thanks to Hela (Cate Blanchett). The fight happens on a planet named Sakaar that’s ruled by The Grandmaster. Their meeting is iconic since Hulk now has a personality and decides to help Thor fight Hela.

2. War Machine - Iron Man 3

War Machine or James Rhodes is Iron Man’s partner. With an armor identical to Iron Man, he helped Tony Stark in their mission to save the earth. Without Iron Man War Machine always have a side mission since James Rhodes is a member of the U.S Air Force. War Machine’s best appearance is on Iron Man 3, where he helped Tony Stark beat Aldrich Killian.

3. Winter Soldier - Avengers: Infinity War

His real name is Bucky Barnes, and he has been friends with Captain America since world war 2. After being kidnapped by hydra and become a lab rat, his physical strength exceeds normal humans. His left arm is replaced with a bionic arm. Unfortunately, Bucky lost his memory because of Hydra’s brainwashing. He once fights against Captain America when he still lost his memory, but he then recovers his memory and sides with his buddy Captain America.

In Infinity War, Winter Soldier meets Steve Rogers in Wakanda. They work together to beat Tahons’ underling that tried to take the MInd Stone.

4. Shuri - Black Panther

As the princess of Wakanda, Shuri is responsible for the country’s technology. She is also one of the smartest individuals in MCU besides Tony Stark. Shuri even surpasses Tony Stark with her nanotechnology and helps other characters with the technology. In the Black Panther film, Shuri played a lot of part in developing her brother’s suit.

5. Luis - Ant-Man and The Wasp

Luis is a character that talks fast like a rapper with a Mexican rapper, and he is very precious. He beats around the bus when he tells a story. The character Luis, played by Michael Pena, may not be as crucial. He is not a superhero, let alone owning a superpower. But his existence makes any situation brighter.

6. Groot - Guardians of the Galaxy

Groot is a packet alongside Rocket Racoon, the two works well together and have a deeper relationship than they let others know. In Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot is the best scene-stealer. The character with a unique ability always help his group when they are in need. Even in Infinity War, Groot plays a huge role. Without the help of Groot, Thor may not own his Stormbreaker.

7. Ned Leeds - Spider-Man: Homecoming

In the two Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films, the teenager Ned Leeds plays a big part. Even hi doesn’t have a superpower, the character played by Jacob Batalon is the close friend of Peter Parker while he is in Middle School. He is Peter’s trusted friend.
