This article contains major spoilers, especially for those of you who haven’t read the latest chapters of the Tokyo Revengers manga. So, it’d be better to skip this one if you don’t want to get spoiled!

Since it’s an Action-Shounen anime, Tokyo Revengers does have some dark moments, including the deaths of several characters in the story. These Tokyo Revengers characters are either involved in a big fight or come across with the antagonists.

So, which characters will die in Tokyo Revengers? Let’s take a look!

1. Shinichiro Sano

Shinichiro Sano was the leader and founder of the Black Dragon and the older brother of Manjiro Sano (Mikey). Shinichiro is the oldest child of the Sano family and a hero to his younger siblings; Mikey, Izana, and Emma. He was a charismatic figure who would put aside differences to better others. He was well-respected as the founder of the Black Dragon.

Shinichiro led the gang with a humble heart and earned respect from all of the members. Despite his rather weak physique, he led the Black Dragon with power. Even the later generations of the gang speak highly about him.

Shinichiro died on August 14, 2003. Baji and Kazutora sneaked up to Shinichiro’s bike shop to steal a bike, but Baji was caught red-handed by Shinichiro. Not knowing who Shinichiro was, Kazutora rushed to save Baji by hitting Shinichiro’s head with a wrench and killed him.

Even long after his death, people still look up to him and celebrate his life. Although he died prior to the main events of the story, Shinichiro remains to have an influence on the lives of several main characters.

2. Emma Sano

Emma Sano was Shinichiro and Mikey’s half-sister who appeared in the early episodes of the anime. Emma tends to be childish around Draken, her long-time crush. She will often be flirty to try to get him jealous and then gets disappointed when she finds he doesn’t realize her intentions.

Emma’s death is probably the most heartbreaking. While under Takemichi’s protection, and, under Mikey’s order, Emma is killed by Kisaki and Hanma before the big gang battle, after she revealed that she and Draken love each other.

3. Izana Kurokawa

Izana Kurokawa was the 8th leader of the Black Dragon and former president of Tenjiku. He’s also one of the main antagonists of the Tenjiku Arc. Under his command, Tetta Kisaki killed his adoptive sister, Emma Sano. Izana was killed after fighting Mikey, with Kisaki’s gun while protecting Kakucho.

4. Keisuke Baji

Keisuke Baji was the First Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang and one of its founding members. Baji was killed during the Valhalla vs. Toman fight. He was stabbed by Kazutora. He lost a lot of blood and fainted, appeared to be dead. Enraged by the death of his friend, Mikey goes after Kazutora with the full intention of killing him.

Baji then stood up stabbed himself, claiming that Kazutora wouldn’t be the one who kills him. In his final moments, he told Takemichi to keep an eye out of Kisaki and protect the ones he loves. He died in Chifuyu’s arms, thanking him for everything.

5. Tetta Kisaki

Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist in Tokyo Revengers and the mastermind of everything that happens in the future. In the past, during the Tenjiku vs. Tokyo Manji fight, Kisaki knew that they were losing the fight, and ran away.

However, Takemichi and the others chased after Kisaki until a truck hit him -- instantly killing him on the spot.
