Social media Twitter was enlivened with discussions about the Indonesian language edition of the Pokémon Charizard VMAX card, on Sunday (9/6) evening. Through the hashtag #HobiSultan, netizens highlight the estimated price of this card which is considered equivalent to the iPhone 14 Pro or the latest Yamaha N-Max motorbike.

Based on information obtained from Instagram Pokémonofficial.id, there are only 50 Pokémon Charizard VMAX cards released in Indonesia and cannot be obtained by purchasing a Booster Pack or Starter Deck of Pokémon cards as usual. This is what makes the Pokémon Charizard VMAX card a topic of conversation since its initial announcement.

The only way to get a Pokémon Charizard VMAX card at this time is by entering a tournament titled Charizard VMAX Championship Over. This tournament will last throughout July and end on August 6, 2023. Through this tournament, it is hoped that everyone will have the same opportunity to get the card.

The Charizard VMAX Championship will take place at 37 GYM stores or Pokémon card official distributor stores throughout Indonesia. For the Jakarta area it will take place at Toys City Card Center, Gameopoly, Firebird - FRZ, Iki Card Shop, Cerberus Hobbies, Two Stompas, Qube, Multi Sarana Prima Nusantara, Arcanum Hobbies, Nakama Hobbies, Hidan, and Ogre Neverland Gandaria, Tangerang Region will taking place at Shumitako, Kado Cardshop, Dragoons, Azure Gaming, and Chekku Pointo. The City of Bandung takes place at Meatballs Pebbles Recipe and Deck n Dice.

Surabaya City will take place at the Boardgame Academy, VG Clinic, Utopia Cards, and the Grand Colosseum. Gresik city in Mabar Gresik, Batam city in Edukits, Banjarmasin city in Blesshop, Bandar Lampung city in Win StreaX, Pontianak city in TCG SHOP, Semarang city in Fairians Card Game Merchant, Palembang city in 71A Planetarium and Rickiest Hobby and Toys, Sidoarjo city in Arlesi Game, Depok city in Castle 8, Bali area in Bali Awakening Zone, Karawang city in Victorians, Medan city in Gamma, and Headquarter for Samarinda city.

The requirement to enter this championship is to purchase five (5) Booster Pack Pokémon Game Collection Cards at the organizer's GYM shop on the date of the championship. In addition, there should be a minimum of 16-32 card trainers registered at the GYM shop where the tournament is being held. The Championship for the Charizard VMAX will take place using broad regulations and the format of swiss round BO1 for the preliminary round and single elimination BO3 for the final round. The ultimate winners from each GYM store are automatically entitled to a Charizard VMAX card at the end of the tournament.
