This article contains spoilers, especially for those of you who haven’t watched the latest episode of  Attack on Titan. So, it’d be better to skip this one if you don’t want to get spoiled! 

Wall Titans are Abnormal Titans that share some physical similarities with one of the Nine Titans, the Colossal Titan. Wall Titans have the ability of crystallization and exist in large numbers as they’re part of the three walls on Paradis Island.

The existence of the Wall Titans was discovered after the Female Titan, Annie Leonhart, tried to climb Wall Sina to escape from Eren and the Survey Corps.

Currently, the hundreds of thousands of Wall Titans have been awakened and are demolishing the world. Perhaps some of you are wondering, where will the Wall Titans go, and what will they do after the Rumbling? Well, check out our theory!

The History of the Wall Titans

In 743, after the Eldian King, Karl Fritz, abandoned Eldia, which caused the Great Titan War, he fled overseas with the other royal member of the Fritz, along with the rest of the Eldians to Paradis Island, Eldia’s last remaining territory.

He then asked Ymir Fritz to create tens of millions of Wall Titans from the Path, to form three concentric walls to protect the Eldians from any threats. 

Later on, King Karl Fritz sent a message to the Marleyans to leave the Eldians on Paradis Island. Otherwise, the Wall Titans would “flatten the entire Earth.”

The Wall Titans will remain motionless even when exposed to sunlight as they need to be ordered by a Founding Titan.

More than 80 years later, Dina Fritz told this story to the Eldian Restorationists.

During the festival hosted by Willy Tybur, he tells the world about the truth about the Walls, the Great Titan War, and King Karl Fritz. He explains that due to the King’s vow of pacifism, which prevents the Founding Titan from being used for war, thus the Wall Titans were never a threat.

However, due to the coup d’état in recent years, the military of Paradis Island has overthrown the previous royal government, which rendered the King’s peaceful measure ineffective.

Now that the Founding Titan belongs to Eren Yeager, who somehow capable of activating the Titans within the Wallsdespite not having royal blood, for the first time, the world is in real danger of the Wall Titans.

Where Do the Wall Titans Go After The Rumbling?

Once the Wall Titans flattened the world, where would they go? Here are some theories on this topic.

First, the Wall Titans would likely disappear and turn into sand, considering that’s what they’re made of, back in the Path. 

Second, the Wall Titans would return to form the Walls on Paradis Island -- under the order of Eren.
