Shocking news coming from Hollywood! Keanu Reeves will be the voice of the game character named Shadow the Hedgehog in the live action Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Additionally, Variety has confirmed that Jim Carrey will be returning to play Dr. Robotnik for the third live action Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

IGN reported that Krysten Ritter, Alyla Browne, James Wolk, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernandez, and Jorma Taccone will be joining the cast of the movie. Several cast members from the previous movie will also return, such as Ben Schwartz, Lee Majdoub, Idris Elba, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Tom Butler, James Marsden, and Tika Sumpter.

The plan is for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 to be released on December 20th 2024. Meanwhile, the Knuckles spin off series was originally scheduled for release in 2023 on the Paramount+ streaming service, but has been delayed to 2024. The series will premiere on April 26th 2024. The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie has been a huge success after its release in the United States in April 2022.

Ben Schwartz voiced Sonic, James Marsden and Tika Sumpter played the lead roles, while Jim Carrey played Dr. Robotnik. Idris Elba voices Knuckles, while Colleen O'Shaughnessey voices Tails. With Keanu Reeves dubbing Shadow, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is even more exciting!
