Attack on Titan is an anime series full of all kinds of surprises. The story follows Eren Yeager, a boy whose goal is to join the Survey Corps in hopes of protecting his friends and family, but after a giant attacked his home and ate his mother, he became fixated on exacting his revenge.

In Attack on Titan, Eren has done some terrible and unforgivable things, but he justifies his actions as necessary to protect humanity.

On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you a list of Eren Yeager's crimes in Attack on Titan. WIthout further ado, let's get into it.

10. Laughing at Sasha's Demise

The death of the fan-favorite Sasha Blouse shocked fans of the series due to how unexpected it was. Many fans used to believe that their favorite characters were always safe because of their extensive histories and roles in the story, but the episode "Assassin's Bullet" in Season 4 proved that no one is safe from the attacks of their enemies.

After being told that Sasha had died of a gunshot wound, Eren started laughing. He showed little emotion prior to this event, but the lifeless body of his compatriot led him to show how unavailable he is emotionally. It is later revealed that he knew this was going to happen, but he never once tried to stop it.

9. Killing Mikasa's Kidnappers

When he was little, Mikasa lived a happy and peaceful life with her parents. One day, a group of bandits arrive at her house and kidnap her, but not before killing her entire family. She then wakes up to find the bandits standing over her, discussing the price they could get if they sold her.

Eren and his father arrive at the house and find out what's going on, the sight of which sends Eren into a rage. He follows the trail left by the bandits and eventually finds their hideout. Once inside, he disguises as a missing child to distract the assailants before delivering a barrage of blade swings at the two kidnappers. This grisly attack was certainly necessary to save Mikasa, but it's clearly a terrifying act.

8. Asking Historia To Eat Him

Upon learning that she is entitled to the throne, Historia decided to look for Rod Reiss to get some answers. Before she could start her search; she was captured by Kenny and taken to the village chapel, where Rod attempted to convince her to turn into a Titan and eat Eren.

Realizing that eating Eren would bring out the First King's pacifism, she refused, but Eren begged her to listen to Rod's words. Eren had just learned that his father, Grisha, killed most of the Reiss family. Thus, he felt that he deserved to be punished. Even though Eren might see this as a noble wish, he was essentially asking Historia to give up her life.

7. Eating the War Hammer Titan

Paradis' raid on Marley is one of the most crucial battles in Attack on Titan. Eren not only destroyed countless lives, but he also forced his closest friends to side with him, thus making them responsible for the crimes he committed.

While the battles resulted in countless deaths, none were quite as shocking as the War Hammer Titan's death, mainly because of the way it happened. To break through the impenetrable casing of the War Hammer's crystal, Eren put the crystal into the Jaw Titan's mouth and forced Galliard to crush it open with his teeth, resulting in one of the most gruesome deaths in the series.

6. Attacking Armin

In an effort to prevent his friends from being affiliated with him, Eren decided that the best course of action was to cut the ties between them. He meets up with Armin and Mikasa and scolds them for the actions they did for him before referring to Mikasa a slave.

Enraged by this, Armin throws a punch at his former closest friend, yet Eren responds with even more vicious attacks. He mercilessly abuses Armin while taunting him for his weakness. Even though Eren is just trying to distance himself from his closest friends, the way he deals with Armin shows just how evil he really can be.

5. Siding with Zeke

Zeke has been the source of much of Paradis Island's misery, thus, it seems so uncharacteristic for Eren to join him. While it's ultimately revealed that Eren was just using Zeke to get what he wants, the way he sided with him as an ally was cruel, considering how it affected his friends.

To gain Zeke's trust, Eren distanced himself from his closest friends and even declared some of them as enemies. He created a group of rebel soldiers called the Yeagerists, and tasked them with some truly terrible things. Eren believed this action was necessary to protect his homeland.

4. His Attack on Marley

After infiltrating Marley, disguised as a wounded soldier, Eren works to manipulate friends and foes alike in preparation for his attack. He befriends Falco, a young, aspiring Warrior who believes the strange man without any suspicion.

Eren puts his plan into action by getting Falco to deliver a letter to his allies in the Survey Corps, an action that quickly leads to an invasion of Marley.

Willy Tybur encourages Marley to get up and destroy Paradis Island once and for all, and Eren transforms below the stage Tybur is standing on. He kills the noble and begins attacking the onlookers in the hopes of luring the War Hammer Titan. The battle devastated Marley, with many innocent lives lost. Even though Eren felt his actions were justified, the means he chose to achieve them were cold and evil.

3. Unveiling His Hatred for Mikasa

While trying to find Zeke, Eren learns the whereabouts of his former friends and decides to interrogate them for some information. It's been undeniable that he actually cares a lot about Mikasa, but in Attack on Titan Final Season, Eren has been displaying a different feeling towards Mikasa.

He tells Mikasa that the only reason she's been fighting by his side is because of her blood, meaning that any feelings she has for him are a product of her bloodline. He even says that he's always hated Mikasa, an untrue statement, but is certainly cruel.

2. Manipulating His Father

After escaping from Marley, Grisha Yeager finds himself in the lands of Paradis Island. Disguising himself as a doctor, he gains access to a forgotten civilization and becomes one of the most respected practitioners in the field due to his advanced medical knowledge. He starts a family in an attempt to distance himself from his previous life, but the sorrow of his past eventually catches back to haunt him.

Grisha's guilt leads him to confront the Reiss family, the royal family that possesses the Founding Titan. He knows that the Titans are planning to break through the walls and wreak havoc on his new home. He then begs Frieda to renounce her pacifist vows and prevent the attack. When she refuses, Grisha tries to transform into his Ti=tan form yet he's unable to do so.

He has dedicated his life to saving the lives of others and has no intention to kill the Reiss family. Knowing this, Eren reminds him of the reason he came to Paradis. He fills Grisha's head with terrifying memories and encourages him to attack. If it wasn't for Eren, Grisha might have had the chance to live a peaceful life.

1. Initiating the Rumbling

Since childhood, Eren has always wanted to break free from being stuck on Paradis Island. This led him to join the Survey Corps, but his faith led him down a dark path in the process. With the entire world targeting his homeland, Eren finds out that a more permanent solution is required to ensure the freedom of his island.

After gaining the power to awaken the Colossal Titans living within the city walls, Eren releases them into the world and directs them to Marley, the land that has been the opposition to Paradis for centuries.

Destroying Marley is Eren's main goal, before bringing the same fate to the rest of the world. Years of abuse had molded him into an emotionally-detached man who has no patience. If exterminating the entire world is what it takes to gain peace, he has no problem doing that.
