Mobile Legends | 21 January
Yin is the newest Fighter in Mobile Legends who has a unique skill that allows him to pull an opponent into his realm, forcing them to go one-on-one against him to the death or until the duration is over. Since he’s a completely new hero in Mobile Legends, Yin has several strengths and weaknesses that you probably didn’t know.
So, what are Yin’s strengths and weaknesses in Mobile Legends? Without further ado, let’s get into it!
Pros
Nasty Damage
As a Fighter, Yin can dish out a ridiculous amount of damage to his opponents since the early game. Therefore, Yin can easily be an unstoppable force during the laning phase.
The Best Duelist!
This hero seems to be tailored for players who love to outplay the opponents’ mechanics during the laning phase. Yin’s prowess in duels is coupled with his Passive, which grants him 125% additional damage when there are no allies within 4 yards.
Has Great Kit
This hero sure does have a great, all-rounded kit as he possesses CCs, a blink, and a skill as his main damage dealer.
Can Isolate a Target Using His Ultimate
Yin’s most apparent advantage is his Ultimate, which allows him to pull a single target into his realm, forcing them to have a duel with him until one of them dies or the duration runs out.
This skill is highly useful to isolate the opponents’ Carry in team fights.
Dominant During the Laning Phase
As mentioned above, Yin has a lot of advantages to make him unstoppable during the laning phase, especially due to his Passive.

Cons
Pretty Low HP and Defense
One of Yin’s weaknesses is he suffers from sub-par HP and Defense, lower than most Fighters. Thus, Yin requires to have at least one Defensive item to overcome this weakness.
Relatively Long Cooldowns
Although all of his skills are highly useful, Yin has relatively low Cooldowns, especially at Level 1. Without a Cooldown Reduction item, the player has to wait to have his skills available before charging at a target.
Weak in Team Fights
Since he’s designed specifically for duels, Yin can be so weak in team fights as he lacks AoE, and he can’t do much damage when his Passive isn’t activated.
His Skills Are Quite Easy to Dodge
When turning into Lieh with his Ultimate, Yin will gain enhanced skills. However, his skills are quite easy to dodge as long as you keep moving.
His Ultimate Can Be a Double-Edged Sword
Yin’s Ultimate can either be beneficial or detrimental to himself. If Yin pulls in the wrong opponent, he could be the one who gets obliterated in his domain.
