To create realism, many triple-A games recently starting to cast real-life models to play as in-game characters as done by Capcom by casting a model named Sasha Zotova to play as Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 3 Remake.

Zotova herself is a 24 years old model from Moscow, Russia, who has been an active model for 11 years. But playing as Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 3 Remake is her first step to enter the video game world. Zotova replaces Julia Voth, who previously cast as Jill Valentine back in Resident Evil 1 Remake.

In her first interview since accepting this role with a video game store website Fanatical, Zotova told her experience playing as “Super S.T.A.R” Jill Valentine. “My agent called me one day and told me that I received a job offering in Japan. They said that the work would be video game-related, even though they’re not sure what the video game was,” said Zotova.

Zotova also said her feeling when seeing herself on the screen as a video game character. “It feels weird. (But) I will be delighted to play as Jill again in the next RE game, and it’s an honor to work with Capcom,” she added.

Zotova’s Jill will play a key role in Resident Evil 3 Remake. In this game, Jill will try to escape the horror of the Raccoon City zombie attack as well as stopping Umbrella Corps from spreading their living weapon, Nemesis.

Not only the story from the original version, but Resident Evil 3 Remake also brings the Resident Evil Resistance gameplay where you can try this game in a 1v4 multiplayer format.
