One of the moments that stirred up fans in One Piece episode 1118 was the appearance of the Gorosei and Im-sama before Cobra. For some reason, Im-sama suddenly decided to reveal themselves to Cobra, who had been asking questions about Queen Lily of Alabasta. These questions appeared to anger Im-sama.

The Gorosei were already prepared to eliminate Cobra, as anyone who knows Im-sama’s identity must be silenced. Interestingly, Im-sama's voice was deliberately distorted when speaking. This was done to prevent fans from discovering anything about Im-sama, including their gender.

Some fans theorize that Im-sama could be Queen Lily, mentioned by King Cobra. Given Cobra’s explanation, this theory seems plausible. However, Oda has not provided any clear hints. Toei Animation even went as far as to disguise Im-sama’s voice.
