Surprisingly, there’s a Dynasty Warriors live-action coming, but it’s only for China. The film will premier on 30 April 2021. The information is revealed by Daniel Ahmad (@ZhugeEX) via Twitter. He also shared the film’s trailer

The live action Dynasty Warriors movie will release in Mainland China on April 30, 2021. It is based on the video game franchise of the same name from Koei Tecmo.

There is currently no confirmation of a theatrical release outside Greater China for now.

Looking at the trailer, the action in the Dynasty Warriors film is following the game. The army can fling the opponent’s army in one attack. For the plot, the Dynasty Warriors film will tell the story of Yellow Turban’s rebellion and the fall of Dong Zhuo.

It’s unknown whether the film will be released outside of China or not.
