Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has been officially announced as a trilogy of films concluding the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series. The first part, titled Akaza Returns, is set to premiere on July 18, 2025. This film marks the beginning of the final showdown between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan Kibutsuji’s Upper Moons within the demons’ stronghold known as the Infinity Castle.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Continues After the Hashira Training Arc

The film picks up directly after the Hashira Training Arc, which aired from May to June 2024. In the story, Muzan Kibutsuji infiltrates the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, forcing Tanjiro Kamado and the Hashira into a mysterious dimension called the Infinity Castle. There, they must face the strongest demons in a life-or-death battle.

Akaza Visual Becomes the Highlight of Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle

The newly released visual shows Akaza, Upper Rank Three, with his chilling grin taking center stage. Akaza is infamous for killing Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in Mugen Train. Now, he returns to face off against Tanjiro and the Hashira in an even more intense confrontation.

According to Japan Anime News, the teaser reveals Akaza clashing with Tanjiro and the elite Hashira within the twisted halls of the castle. Other key characters including Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Nezuko Kamado will also appear in the film.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Begins the Final Film Trilogy

Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will consist of three films adapting the final arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga. The trilogy is produced by renowned studio ufotable, with the theme song performed by LiSA and Aimer.

As the story nears its end, Infinity Castle is expected to be one of the most anticipated anime releases of 2025. For longtime fans, this marks the beginning of the end in Tanjiro’s journey to defeat demons and restore his sister’s humanity.
