During the Koei Tecmo live stream event that was held yesterday, the company announced several new characters from Samurai Warriors 5 as well as the Season Pass for the game. Of the five new characters announced, three of them are new playable characters introduced to the series. 

In addition to that, the Samurai Warriors 5 Season Pass offers some interesting content for players and collectors to get. Players who bought this service can get discounts on upcoming DLCs and other bonuses as well.

The season pass will have 6 additional scenarios, 6 music sets, 5 additional weapon sets, in which each of them contains 3 weapons, and 6 additional horses. As a bonus, players will also acquire Gold to upgrade weapons and items to increase the character's strength.

Of the 27 characters who will be playable in Samurai Warriors 5, Koei Tecmo has leaked 19 of them so far. Previously, Tadakatsu Honda and Toshiie Maeda were announced, then, the five new characters that were announced yesterday were Lady Sena, Shikanosuke Yamanaka, Kazuuji Nakamura, Hanbei Takenaka, and Kanbei Kuroda.
