Mattel Unveils WWE x Street Fighter Action Figure Collaboration at SDCC 2025

Renowned toy company Mattel has officially announced an exciting action figure collaboration between WWE and Street Fighter, revealed during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025, one of the world’s biggest pop culture conventions.

In this crossover, several legendary WWE superstars are reimagined as iconic characters from the Street Fighter video game series. The figures feature highly detailed sculpts and unique designs, complete with special packaging that resembles a classic Street Fighter II arcade cabinet, featuring the signature retro color scheme and background inspired by the legendary fighting game.

Each figure stands approximately 6 inches tall and features multiple points of articulation, making them perfect for both collectors and action figure enthusiasts. Mattel states that the designs are intended to highlight the distinctive traits of each character while evoking a strong sense of arcade-era nostalgia.

WWE x Street Fighter Action Figure Lineup

In its initial release, four crossover figures have been introduced:

  • Ultimate Warrior as Blanka

  • The Rock as M. Bison

  • Rey Mysterio as Ryu

  • John Cena as Guile

Each figure presents a unique hybrid look, blending the WWE wrestler’s personality with the visual flair of their respective Street Fighter character. For example, The Rock as M. Bison appears in a red military coat and cap reminiscent of the classic final boss, while Rey Mysterio as Ryu dons a white headband and martial artist’s pants true to the Street Fighter legend.

A Nostalgic Crossover Celebrating Two Iconic Worlds

This WWE x Street Fighter figure line is more than just a toy release—it’s a celebration of classic pop culture. WWE and Street Fighter are two powerhouse franchises that have captivated audiences for decades, each with millions of fans worldwide.

The collaboration aims to merge two distinct entertainment worlds—professional wrestling and fighting games—into a collectible series that appeals to fans of all ages. With its arcade-style packaging and iconic character mashups, this line also targets collectors who cherish 90s nostalgia and grew up with both franchises.

The project is also part of WWE and Mattel’s strategy to continually release innovative, creative products that attract both longtime fans and a new generation of enthusiasts—blending wrestling and fighting game culture into a single, unified collectible experience.
