The lightweight version of the popular soccer game eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 or commonly known as PES 2020 will be released soon this week. This was announced by Konami at the eFootball PES official Twitter account on a post last Thursday (5/12).

“We are very excited to announce that eFootball PES 2020 LITE will be coming soon. Next week (this week), everyone will be able to see if #PlayingIsBelieving,” wrote the eFootball PES account and adding ball and Santa Claus emoticon. In the same post, this account also announced that the PES 2020 Lite game later can be played for free on PS4 consoles, Xbox One and PC via Steam.

To this date, there is no information about the exact release date for the PES 2020 Lite, however if we looked back at the release date of PES 2019 Lite, this game will be released in December 13. Unfortunately, Konami didn’t announce any mode that will be available (or not available) in this latest edition of PES Lite.

In the 2019 edition, PES Lite presents almost all of the features available in the PES offline mode. So, it is highly possible that PES 2020 Lite will remove some of the PES new trademark modes including Master League and also Matchday Mode.  Even though in Master League mode you can use several football legendary players such as Diego Maradona and Johan Cruyff as your team coach.

However, if the things mentioned above are not a problem for you, PES 2020 Lite might be the right choice for you who doesn’t own the full version yet. The Lite version is even more interesting considering that there will still be an Edit mode that allows you to customize the team, players, jersey and stadium to suit your taste.
