This can be said to be a concrete example of how much Konami doesn't care so much that it doesn't renew the domain of one of their legendary games. In December 2019, silenthill.com seemed to have forgotten to renew the domain until it went on sale for US$9,835.

Unfortunately no one was quick enough to buy it before Konami finally bought it back. But this time Konami was unlucky because there were gamers who finally managed to get this domain. If you go to silenthill.com, you'll end up on a page featuring a tweet from Masahiro Ito saying what could be said to be pretty hilarious.

“I wish I hadn't designed the Pyramid Head's head."

For those of you who think that the tweet seems fake, it turns out that the tweet is true. Ito is the head of art from Silent Hill 2 where he created many iconic monsters. He once said something in his tweet which he later deleted.

The figure of the Pyramid Head itself is a figure created by Ito who combines military designs with terrible monster designs. On the other hand, while Konami ignores Silent Hill, several people associated with Silent Hill such as Keiichiro Toyama are working on a wild-looking horror game called Slitterhead along with Akira Yamaoka who used to be the composer of Silent Hill.
