Konami Digital Entertainment Limited announced the latest update to the eFootball™ soccer game series, which is the first update for the 2024/2025 season. This update will include several feature changes in the game and also various in-game events that players can enjoy.

New features in gameplay

The latest eFootball™ update will include a number of updates to the in-game experience for fans. After analyzing more deeply the feedback from the fan community, KONAMI can now confirm the changes that will be made.

In this update, the contract limit has been removed so players can use all their players, no matter when they signed them. Players whose contracts have expired will also experience the same effect.

An automatic option has been added to player progression. This allows players not to think about the complexity of balancing player status, making it easier to train players. This feature also comes with the freedom to reset player progress without needing to spend GP.

“Finesse Dribble” has also arrived in eFootball™. Players will find it easier to use this feature and will have more options to enjoy tactical battles between attack and defense.

The new “Slot Booster” feature is introduced to customize player attributes, giving them extra statistical boosts. By obtaining and using “Random Booster Token” and “Select Booster Token”, players can craft one of 17 types of Boosters for their players. Legendary world players Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Deco, and Ludovic Giuly will appear as Epic cards with “Booster Slot” in this new update.

Events

The eFootball™ update will certainly bring a number of new events and bonuses for new and existing players, which will help strengthen their Dream Team and enhance the playing experience both solo and in Co-op mode.

Players will receive a Showtime Messi card after completing the "Skill Up" tutorial. Apart from that, players can also get 7 random booster tokens, 7 skill training programs, and 300 eFootball™ coins as a free login bonus during the event.

The Startup Event will also include several special login prizes including Highlight: FC Barcelona Robert Lewandowski, Highlight: FC Bayern Leroy Sané, and 2 Highlight lottery chances for FC Barcelona and FC Bayern.

These prizes and a series of event achievements and Tour Events will provide players with a vast collection of in-game items - all of which will help in achieving victory and glory in the world's most popular free soccer simulation game.

Messi and Neymar will appear in the “Ambassador Edition” with their teammates.

The package includes namesake ambassadors with their names and 10 world-class players to play with them (For mobile and Steam versions, this package is called the ambassador pack).
