Recently on its social media, Genshin Impact announced two new characters that will be arriving along with the upcoming update, one of them being Kuki Shinobu — a Hydro character who’s also the Deputy Leader of the Arataki Gang.

Although Kuki Shinobu joined the Arataki Gang much later after its creation, she managed to transform the entire gang. After she arrived, the Arataki Gang was able to expand its business scope to various fields, including but not limited to legal consultation, business negotiation, banquet catering, and even clothing customization.

More surprisingly, the Arataki Gang was even able to produce all the required practice certificates, all signed by the same person: Kuki Shinobu.

It is said that the second-in-command had studied abroad. Some also said that she has close affiliations with the Tenryou Commission.

It’s understandable that upon hearing this, many are suspicious of her. But, the residents of Hanamizaka, who often deal with the Arataki Gang, don’t share that suspicion as they always openly go to her for consultations on various matters.

According to them, discussions with Kuki Shinobu always go smoothly and efficiently.

They only need to follow two rules:

1. Never attempt to find out what she looks like under her mask;
2. Never ask why she always avoids the Grand Narukami Shrine every time she heads out for a job.

Abilities

According to some reports, Kuki Shinobu will arrive as a Sword-wielding Electro character. Some leakers also mentioned that Kuki Shinobu will be the first Electro-Healer in Genshin Impact, which certainly makes her a unique character to have.

Kuki Shinobu will likely be a 4-Star character who will be released alongside the upcoming 5-Star, Yelan.
