Bandai Namco recently announced Kuma as the newest character in Tekken 8. Kuma's trailer shows his various moves. What's very interesting, Kuma can do the Wind God Fist movement which should only be done by the Mishima family. Take a look at the trailer below!
There is a reason why Kuma can do that move. From clothes alone, Kuma seems to follow Heihachi's clothes. Kuma himself is Heihachi's pet and bodyguard. At some point, Heihachi taught Kuma this technique to carry on the Mishima family's fighting spirit.
For the first time in the Tekken series, Kuma can perform this special Mishima family move. Wind God Fist was originally only able to be performed by Heihachi and Kazuya. This technique also evolved into Electric Wind God Fist or what Tekken players often call EWGF.
So far there have been 32 characters confirmed to appear in Tekken 8. Tekken 8 will be released on January 26th 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via Steam. Most likely there will be crossovers from other franchises in the future, such as Tekken 7. Wait for further news about Tekken 8 at Dunia Games!
