Lemon Hates Kagura—Here’s Why
Lemon hates Kagura after this hero really difficult to play.

Lemon hates Kagura? That’s hard to believe. Kagura has long been considered Lemon’s signature hero. His rise to fame in Mobile Legends has been heavily associated with his mind-blowing Kagura plays.
In fact, Kagura has become so synonymous with Lemon that whenever someone locks in the hero, fans still instinctively think of him.
Unfortunately, Kagura has fallen out of the META over the past few MPL seasons. Even after receiving a revamp, she has struggled to break into the S-tier Mid Laner pool, largely due to the abundance of better alternatives—whether for raw damage or utility.
Kagura has remained a high-damage mage with immense potential, but the issue is clear: her power spike has arrived too late in the game. She only becomes impactful after completing three core items, making her a risky pick in a fast-paced META.
Now, Lemon has openly admitted that he no longer enjoys using Kagura—a surprising confession, given how closely the hero has been tied to his legacy.
Lemon Has Grown to Hate Kagura
During a livestream, Lemon expressed his current distaste for Kagura. His main gripe? The hero has become too complex and effort-heavy for the META.
He even compared her to Nana, pointing out the stark contrast in efficiency and ease of execution.
“Kagura is so trash now. I’d rather play Nana. With Nana, I just do skill 2, ult, skill 1—a tank can die,” Lemon said on stream.
“Kagura? Skill 1 combo, skill 2, skill 1, ult, skill 2, ult again, skill 2, escape with skill 1. You press all those skills—and no one dies.”
“It’s already hard to land her skills, and when they hit, the damage doesn’t even matter. Who wants to play that?” he concluded.
Lemon’s honest take has highlighted the harsh reality for skill-intensive mages in today’s meta: effort doesn’t always equal value. And in a competitive scene where efficiency reigns supreme, even a legend like Kagura has lost her place.
