After being showcased at several major events, SEGA has finally released Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam. This game continues the story from Yakuza 6: The Song of Life from Kiryu Kazuma's point of view.

The story features the same stars as in the previous series, including Takaya Kuroda, Yasukaze Motomiya, Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi, First Summer Uika, and Kim Jae Wook. When fighting, you can choose one of two new fighting styles: Yakuza Style with Kiryu's signature fighting style, or Agent Style with the fighting style of a secret agent.

If using Agent Style, Kiryu can use various secret agent tools such as the Spider Web to throw his opponents. There are also various fun mini games like the ones in the previous series. One of the highlights is the Coliseum, where you can fight against various powerful enemies. There's also a cabaret club, karaoke, and pocket circuit.

More interestingly, players can also play 3 other characters for Coliseum from the DLC: Legendary Fighter Pack. These three characters are Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima, and Daigo Dojima.
