Now we’re back on Boruto episode. Boruto Episode 113, which is still a filler episode, telling Shikadai leading a ninja team to finish a mission. This mission is Shikadai’s first mission as a chunin. Can Shikadai prevail or fail in this mission because his team is “messy”? Let’s check out all the facts in Boruto Episode 113 here!

1. Shikadai’s First Mission as a Chunin

Boruto Episode 113 opened with smiling Shikadai taking a look at his Chunin vest. At the same time, Moegi comes to give him a mission. This mission is the first mission for Shikadai as a chunin and he ordered to lead a suddenly-formed team. Because the mission is rather easy, only to pick something in the forest, forming a team without a preparation is not a big deal.

2. The ’Messy’ Team

It’s right, the suddenly-formed team is messy. Shikadai ordered to lead a team that consist of Wasabi, Iwabe, and Boruto. Shikadai and Boruto will be okay in this team since they are close friends, but it’s a different story with Wasabi and Iwabe. There are having an argument between them. Furthermore, before the mission began, Wasabi and Iwabe already scolding at each other.

3. Tonsuke!

The goal in this mission is to find the Gekkouran flower in the middle of a forest. This flower is very rare and only bloom once in 4 years. In addition, this flower can be used as a medicine. Because of that, many people sought after the flower to be sold for a high price.

Because it’s hard to find Gekkouran flower in the middle of a forest, this ‘messy’ team carrying a pig called Tonsuke to guide them. Tonsuke has high sense of smell to detect the Gekkouran flower whereabouts.

4. Finally Get Along

Wasabi and Iwabe keep arguing until they ruining Shikadai’s plan, even though they’re surrounded by bandits. This new leader rather choose to work alone - leaving Wasabi and Iwabe behind.

Shikadai and Boruto chasing after Tonsuke whose kidnapped by the bandit, but they find a dead end. Luckily, Iwabe suddenly have a peace agreement with Wasabi and looks like they reconcile. From there, Shikadai realized that this mission is cannot be done alone. They reunited and decided to save Tonsuke. In the end, Tonsuke is saved and guiding them to Gekkouran flower.

5.  Exam-Covered Mission

Back to Konoha, Shikadai’s team greeted with Moegi and said that the mission is an exam for Shikadai as the new chunin. Shikadai realized that he still needs more practice to become a better leader, especially to manage people.

So that’s five interesting facts in Boruto Episode 113. Shikadai said that he needs more practice to become a chunin. Furthermore, he said with his signature tone “managing people is a nuisance.”
