Because Boruto Episode 122 has aired last week, it’s time for the author to discuss about the facts.

Urashiki Otsutsuki is currently after Shukaku’s chakra but he was temporarily sealed by the Gaara’s Sabaku Soutaiso Fuin jutsu. To be able to take Shukaku to a safer place, Gaara commanded Boruto, Shinki and Kankuro to Konoha. So, this episode tells the continuation of Shukaku’s rescue team. How the story goes? 5. Puppeteer vs. Puppets

Kankuro was stayed behind to face Urashiki’s puppets. The puppeteer fight against the puppets - of course we are sure that Kankuro will be able to defeat his opponents.

But it turns out that it's not easy. Kankuro was quite overwhelmed fighting against them. Plus the evil puppets are still moving despite being attacked by Kankuro’s puppets.

In the end, Kankuro was forced to blow up his puppets. Unfortunately, one of Urashiki’s puppet managed to escape.and chase after Shukaku.

4. The Father’s Trait Inherited to His Child

When running towards Konoha, Shukaku was seen to give a little comment about Shinki’s behavior. He said that Shinki’s trait was similar to the old Gaara, who didn’t want to approach or to be approached by other people.

Shinki is also stubborn. He keeps working hard to complete all tasks given to him. Gaara can changed thanks to Naruto who taught him to not live from hatred alone. Maybe Shinki’s trait can change because of Boruto?

3. Temari and Shikadai Also Lending a Hand

Temari was worried because Gaara and Kankuro still not return. Because of that, she and Shikadai went to pick them up.

The Nara Family found Gaara who was being carried by Yodo and Araya. Gaara said that Urashiki had been released from his fuinjutsu.

Temari immediately rushed to where Kankuro is, but she only found traces of his fight - Kankuro disappeared and one of Urashiki puppet managed to escape.

2.  Better to complete the mission or help a friend?

The big explosion at where Kankuro fought makes Boruto worried. The Seventh Hokage’s son wants to help him, but Shinki insists on continuing the mission. From there, they are separated.

According to Temari, she thanked Boruto for worrying about her brother, but leaving Shinki to carry out the task alone was also inappropriate. Shinki himself was also worried about Kankuro's condition, but he continued on completing the mission because he believed his uncle would catch up.

At the end of the end of Boruto Episode 122, Urashiki’s puppet manages to block Shinki. Gaara's son prepares to avenge Kankuro's defeat.
