Soon Haikyuu! Season 4 will air on the glass screen, who can’t wait to watch it? Before that, we should know deeper with the protagonist of this series, Hinata Shoyo. Scroll down below!

1. Hinata’s Height

Hinata has a short height for a volleyball player. Because of his stature, he often called “midget” and looked down by others. But it doesn’t let him down, because he has a weapon to face against his height that is his “godlike” jump. Because of this, Hinata starting to be known as a talented player.
You should know that Hinata Shoyo has 162,8 centimeters (close to 5 feet 3 inches) tall.

2. Fan of Little Giant

Little Giant becomes Hinata’s inspiration to play volleyball. He is an alumnus of Karasuno and once lives up his school name in a volley tournament. Even though he doesn’t have a tall body, he can create an achievement in Karasuno. That spirit becomes Hinata’s inspiration to keep playing volleyball.

In the manga, Hinata already meets with Little Giant. The name is Tenma Udai. Tenma himself is a close friend of Tsukishima Kei’s brother, Akiteru Tsukishima.

3. Kageyama’s Best Partner

Quick Attack delivered by Kageyama Tobio’s pass cannot be made by ordinary people, because it needs both instantaneous speed and reflect as well. Hinata has both of those so he can deliver Quick Combo with Kageyama. This tactic averagely cannot be defended by the most teams.
In Junior High School, nobody can receive Kageyama’s crazy pass. But in Karasuno, Kageyama is pleased because of Hinata, who can follow him up. Quick Combo acts as a deadly weapon of Karasuno that other schools must be aware of.

4. The Second Most Popular Character

During the first character popularity pool, Hinata becomes the second favorite character in Haikyuu with 6.058 votes. And for the first place occupied by Kageyama Tobio with 6.639 votes.
Hinata and Kageyama maybe similar to Naruto and Sasuke when they’re still on the same team.

5. Least Favorite Subject

The seiyuu (voice actor) of Hinata is Murase Ayumu, who was born in di Los Angeles, so it’s understandable if he understands English. Uniquely, the character he voices, Hinata is not smart in English, and that becomes his least favorite subject in school. His grades in English always bad.
Hinata is also a lazy student because he’s often seen sleeping in class, maybe because he spends too much time practicing volleyball.

One problem I have with Hinata's height. I read the Haikyu!! manga, and it had his height as 5'4. But that's book 3, I havent read the whole series. And in the show, he'd gone up to 164 cm, which is about half an inch taller than he was, so still 5'4. Noya is 5'3, though!
