Katsuyu is the Kuchiyose animal of Tsunade, one of the three legendary Sannin. Living in the wild and mysterious Shikkotsu forest, that even no one has ever seen her full body size because her size depends on the chakra used when using Kuchiyose no Jutsu.

Because of her mushy body and she doesn’t own arms, Katsuyu can create tentacles from her body to hold things or other people.

Because of her unique body, the giant slug can split her body into smaller slugs; anytime she wanted to or when being attacked by the enemy. The smaller slugs can act on their own will and also return to the original body.

This technique made the giant Kuchiyose animal almost impossible the catch or being held and it can be said that she is close to being immune to any kind of attack.
