5. Make Sure You Have A Good Internet Connection

For those of you who play Android games online, a good internet connection is very crucial. If you play it at home and has a good internet connection, I think that it is not necessary to check it deeper. However, if you play it outside using a laptop, it is better for you to use a good and trusted Wi-Fi connection. Don’t use public Wi-Fi because many people are using it at the same time and the bandwidth is automatically divided and the ping will be high. At least you can tether internet connection from your smartphone.

4. Update Computer Graphics Card

Basically, playing Android games through emulator means playing a game on a computer. Therefore, you should always update your graphics card driver regularly. If your graphics card isn't the latest update, update it right now. 

The positive effect is not only felt on Android emulator, but also for your other games. By upgrading the computer graphics cards,  the compatibility of your graphics card is getting better so that it affects the visual process which is also even better.

The most influential thing about playing lagging games is the graphics settings that are not optimal. To avoid lag, it is better for you to use the lowest graphics settings.

In the emulator settings, there is usually an option to change the amount of RAM used for the emulator itself. The default is around 800MB. You can certainly change it as you like - it can be 1 GB, 2 GB, even up to 4 GB.

However, the choice of RAM allocation must be adjusted to the RAM of your own computer. Don't choose 3GB for the emulator, if your computer only has 4 GB. It will make your entire computer lagging.

This tip is specifically for computers that have dual GPUs - usually on laptops. Very important, but often overlooked.

In order to run your games smoothly, your Android emulator must be set to use the GPU as the visual processor. If not, your CPU will processes it and lags the computer. Nvidia GPU users can change the settings in Nvidia Control Panel, while AMD Radeon GPU users can change the settings in Radeon Settings.
