Tokyo Revengers fans are very much familiar with the name Tokyo Manji a.k.a. Toman, one of the biggest delinquent organizations in Shibuya, Tokyo that is led by two charismatic leaders: Sano Manjirou (Mikey) and the vice-leader Ryuguji Ken (Draken).
During its inception, the gang consists of 100 members split into five divisions with 20-25 members along with one captain and one vice captain in each division. The Toman gang has a similar motto to the Three Musketeers, that is “One for all and all for one.” There are a couple of notable Tokyo Manji characters in Tokyo Revengers, many of which are downright intimidating at first glance. Here are five of them:
1. Hanagaki Takemichi
Takemichi is Tokyo Revengers’ protagonist who travels back from 2017 to 2005 in order to prevent the Tokyo Manji gang from becoming the evil organization they are to become in his original timeline. Although some people disagree with him being a part of the intimidating Tokyo Manji gang, he is in truth a very capable head of the first division with plenty of courage, defense and stamina which make him a respectable figure.
During a couple of scenes, despite being physically beaten and even getting shot, Takemichi is still capable of standing up and continuing fighting, a feat that is possibly gained from his motivation to alter his girlfriend Hinata Tachibana’s fate from being killed in the future.
2. Takashi Mitsuya
Takashi Mitsuya is a cool-looking and skilled Tokyo Revengers character who is also one of the six founders of Tokyo Manji gang. His skill and creativity is shown as Mitsuya is the one behind Tokyo Manji’s black uniform. Along with Draken, he is a part of the gang’s ‘Twin Dragon.’
When the rival Moebius gang is ambushing Draken on August 3 2005, Mitsuya is the first to arrive and support him. With massive valor, he braves himself into a fight against Moebius gang members even if they outnumber him.

3. Keisuke Baji
The long-hair Keisuke Baji is an influential Tokyo Revengers character for being the main founder of Tokyo Manji and the reason behind its foundation. During a meeting between Baji, Mikey, Draken, Kazutora, Pah-Chin and Mitsuya at a local shrine, Baji proposed for the foundation of a school gang in order to stand up against the Black Dragon gang that Kazutora fought alone at that time.
Despite Mikey being the leader of Tokyo Manji gang, Baji still holds a strong role as the gang’s main attacker due to his martial arts experience that he had with Mikey. Baji is a very powerful character who’s capable of eliminating a horde of enemies single-handedly, as seen during Tokyo Manji’s gang war against Moebius on August 3 2005 when he easily stomps multiple enemies in one single jump.
4. Ryuguji Ken (Draken)
In Tokyo Revengers, Ryuguji Ken a.k.a. Draken is one of the biggest reasons Takemichi travels back to the past as he wishes to prevent Draken’s death as well. The vice-leader of Tokyo Manji is influential to the gang’s development, hence his death could change the gang to become an evil organization in the future and Takemichi must prevent it at all cost.
Although lacking a particular skill, Draken is a powerful character whose strength comes from his courage, huge body size and experiences in battles, as he is capable of defeating 20 enemies at once several times. With the tattoo on his face he had since elementary school, Draken is a character whose courage is second to none.
5. Sano Manjirou (Mikey)
“R, run! Mikey’s coming!” is a very popular catchphrase on social media due to this character’s iconic appearance in Tokyo Revengers. Sano Manjirou or Mikey is arguably the strongest character in Tokyo Manji, perhaps even in the whole anime.
Muteki Mikey or ‘The undefeatable Mikey’ is a title embedded on him not out of pure rumors. He has always trained in his grandfather’s dojo since he was a child, as proven with his victory against a horde of adult delinquents when he was at elementary school. With the hard work he has done, Mikey has a signature skill called the ‘Nuclear Kick’ which throws the opponent unconscious. Coupled with his calm and laid-back but deadly appearance, many people respect him
