This live-action series is an adaptation of a manga of the same title, Yu Yu Hakusho. The story tells of a character named Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent student who dies from being hit by a car when he tries to save the life of a child, he then ends up becoming an "Underworld Detective" and begins investigating various supernatural cases on Earth. Unlike the anime version, the live-action version features the same storyline as the manga.

3. Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac

A bit different from the typical live-action adaptations, following the success of the manga, anime, and animated films, the Saint Seiya series will have a live-action version titled Knights of the Zodiac. The live-action version will feature Hollywood stars, such as Madison Iseman, Sean Bean, Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco, and Mark Dacascos. Knights of the Zodiac is another title of the original Saint Seiya manga whose story focuses on Saint Pegasus Seiya and the four Saints, who will become the reincarnated protectors of the Greek goddess Athena. Saint Seiya along with four other saints will fight against the 12 saint zodiac Olympian gods.

4. One Piece

The success of the popular manga and anime One Piece doesn't seem to ever stop. A live-action adaptation of the franchise is already in production. The story in this live-action focuses on the East Blue Arc, which is the beginning of Luffy's journey, who just starts assembling his crew. Not only that, Luffy will also meet Usopp, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and even Robin, who will accompany him on his journey in this live-action version. This adaptation of One Piece will be produced by Netflix, and fans have been eagerly waiting for it to be released next year.

5. Tokyo Revengers Part 2

Following the success of the first live-action adaptation of the anime of the same title, this entry is expected to be released in 2023. Tokyo Revengers 2 will follow the story in the Wakui Ken Arc Bloody Halloween with the title Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween -Destiny-. Some of the characters that will appear include Takemichi (Takemichi Hanagaki), Mikey (Manjiro Sano), Draken (Ken Ryuguji), Baji, Ichitora, and Chifuyu. The Bloody Halloween arc itself follows Takemichi, who returns to the future after he manages to save Draken.
