HoYoverse announced today that Honkai: Star Rail version 1.4: "Awakening from Winter Dreams" will arrive on October 11, 2023. This update not only brings new areas and events, but also 3 new characters that you can get from the limited Warp.

In version 1.4, the Trailblazer team will welcome 3 new characters, Jingliu, Topaz & Numby, Guinaifen. Jingliu is a legend of Xianzhou, one of the Five Cloud Masters and once the strongest swordsman in Xianzhou, as well as Jing Yuan's former teacher. Actually, according to Xianzhou records, she joined the Ten-Lords Commission before being attacked by Mara, and was then detained in Shackling Prison. Then came the famous big battle with her disciple Jing Yuan! 

What happened next and her reason for returning to Luofu is still a mystery. Jingliu is an Ice-type character with the "Destruction" Path. In battle, she has 2 different forms. With her experience on the battlefield, her graceful abilities and the power of Mara, whether Jingliu is in his normal cold state, or in her "Spectral Transmigration" state and has red eyes, there is no doubt that Jingliu is the most formidable swordsman!

Topaz, mentioned above, is a rising star from the Interastral Peace Corporation. Numby is a Warp Trotter, Topaz's best partner on the job and the battlefield! Numby has a keen sense of sensing the presence of treasure, so she can also help Topaz with security-related work, debt collection, and calculations. 

He and Topaz travel the galaxy together, investigating debt disputes that affect IPC's business operations. Topaz & Numby are Fire-type characters with the "Hunt" Path. Their intelligence can definitely aid the Astral Express team's exploration. In battle, Trailblazers will be able to witness their unique interactions, and utilize their unique effects to overcome the difficulties of interstellar travel.

Another character, Guinaifen, will also be present in this version. She is a street artist with many unique skills, such as live streaming and juggling. Although not a native of Xianzhou, she is very interested in the deep culture of Xianzhou! Guinaifen is a Fire-type character with the Path "Nihility". 

Her abilities are closely related to firecrackers. Coincidentally, in Xianzhou there was a local legend about using firecrackers to scare away wild animals. So that's how she was able to gain the support of the citizens of Xianzhou.
