The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power series has officially been released, and the official date was announced on August 21, 2021, to be precise, the film will be released on September 22, 2022. The LOTR film series The Rings of Power is planned to be available exclusively through Prime Video and it has been confirmed by Prime Video, and also Prime Video has officially released a new 20 poster showing the 20 characters that will appear in the series.

For the trailer itself, which is 1 minute long, it will indirectly refer to the story about the beginning of the Sorcerer's Ring, which of course will later become the most important part in The Lord of the Rings trilogy which will begin to unfold. In The Rings of Power story which will be broadcast later, it is reported that the film will enter the Second Age of Middle Earth, where the timeline will go back one era from the setting of the main film itself which focuses on the character of Frodo and also the existing Hobbits.

So the story is that long ago there were a number of rings with great power, namely three rings for the elves, seven rings for the dwarves, and nine rings for humans and one ring for the Dark Lord named Sauron who is also known as the ruler of darkness who later later will use his ring of power to control the world of Middle-Earth. With an interesting story, it's no wonder the second season is already in the shooting stage, and reportedly was done in early 2022.

Planned as a multi-season saga film series, LOTR The Rings of Power will bring famous actors and actresses, such as Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, and many more.
