The third season of the school idol anime Love Live! Superstars!! announced that it will broadcast again around 2024, although the exact release date is not yet known. This is happy news for fans of this anime. This announcement was also followed by information about their 5th live concert, Love Live! Superstars!! Liella 5cyncri5e!, which will start in Fukuoka on January 20 and 21, 2024 before finally going to Tokyo on February 10-11, 2024.

Love Live! Superstars!! is the fourth series of the Love Live! series. The first season premiered on NHK Educational in July 2021 with 12 episodes and was followed by the second season which aired in July 2022 with the same number of episodes.

The third season will feature the introduction of the characters Wien Margarete and Tomari Onitsuka into the anime. The two characters were first announced last April as the third generation of Liella, along with news that Liella would have 11 members who would be divided into three units.

Love Live! Superstars!! is set at the Yuigaoka Girls' High School located in the Harajuku area of Tokyo. Initially, this school was going to be destroyed but finally decided to reopen and accept new students. This unknown school initially did not have any historical records or achievements. A student named Kanon Shibuya and four other first-year students namely Sumire Heanna, Ren Hazuki, Keke Tang, and Chisato Arashi discovered the fact of a 'school idol' who could help their school become more popular. They decide to form a school idol group called Liella and aim to become superstars one day.

Thanks to them, a school idol project begins which initially consists of five girls with great and unlimited potential. To be able to watch the continuation of the story in the third season of Love Live! Superstars!! that will premiere in 2024.
