Solo Leveling Chapter 161 Recap

Being attacked by the Beast Monarch at the end of chapter 160 did not immediately kill Sung Jin-Woo. He had held on for a few seconds, but the Frost Monarch didn't stand still and stabbed him with the Kamish's Wrath he dropped.

While freezing the defenseless Jin-Woo, Frost Monarch threatens the people of South Korea that he wants to freeze them, including those closest to Jin-Woo, so that they can not die and live forever in misery.

The fatal attacks from the two Monarchs prove to be more than enough to kill Jin-Woo. The Shadow Monarch's Health Point (HP) immediately falls to 0, and the System declares that the 'Player' has died.
